Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

1. Introduction

Pelvic Recovery is a personal health-tracking companion that helps you organize symptoms, treatments, and recovery goals related to pelvic floor health. This Privacy Policy describes what information Pelvic Recovery collects, how it is used, how it is shared, and the choices you have.

Pelvic Recovery is intended for users age 18 or older. By using Pelvic Recovery, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

Pelvic Recovery does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care and is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.

2. Information We Collect

You provide information when you create an account and as you use the app. This includes account information, user-reported health information, community content you choose to post, and limited location information when you use Find Care.

3. Health-Related Information

You may choose to enter sensitive, self-reported health information, which may include information related to:

  • Urinary symptoms
  • Bowel symptoms
  • Pelvic pain or tension
  • Sexual health
  • Sensory symptoms
  • Functional limitations
  • Flares
  • Treatments and interventions
  • Medications
  • Side effects
  • Recovery goals
  • Body-map information
  • Providers
  • Appointments
  • Visit questions
  • Free-text notes

This information is used to provide Pelvic Recovery functionality such as tracking, trends and progress, timeline, treatment tracking, care organization, visit preparation, and Visit Brief generation.

This information is user-reported and is not a medical diagnosis. We do not describe this information as protected health information (PHI) unless that legal status has been established.

4. Account Information

We collect your email address to create and manage your account and to send verification codes. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares basic profile information with us through our infrastructure provider for authentication.

A user identifier is assigned to your account and used to associate your records with you. We do not collect your date of birth.

5. Community Information

Community profiles, posts, comments, likes, follows, and memberships may be visible to other authenticated Pelvic Recovery users.

Private Recovery and Care information is not automatically copied into Community.

However, you may voluntarily include health-related or other sensitive information in Community posts or comments. Only share information in Community that you are comfortable making visible to other Community members.

Community is not anonymous.

6. Location Information

When you use Find Care, location is used to search for nearby providers.

Manual city/ZIP search: the location text you enter is used for the provider search and is transmitted to the Google Maps Platform. It is not stored as Find Care search history.

Device location: if you choose "Use my location," your browser requests permission. If granted, latitude and longitude may be obtained, used for Find Care, and transmitted to the Google Maps Platform. Coordinates are not stored in Pelvic Recovery's database as location history, are not connected to your Recovery or Care records, and are not shared with Community.

We do not make claims about Google's own retention practices beyond what is described here.

7. Payment and Subscription Information

Stripe-hosted Checkout handles payment-card information. Pelvic Recovery does not store your payment-card number, CVV, or bank-account credentials.

Pelvic Recovery does store subscription-related information, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription plan and status, billing interval, and relevant subscription dates.

If you delete your account, an active Pelvic Recovery subscription is cancelled first. We do not claim that Stripe deletes information when your Pelvic Recovery account is deleted.

8. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide, operate, and maintain Pelvic Recovery features, including tracking, progress, care organization, visit preparation, community support, subscription entitlement, and account management.

9. How Information Is Shared / Service Providers

Pelvic Recovery uses Base44 infrastructure to host and operate the application and to store and process application information. Base44 is Pelvic Recovery's infrastructure provider.

Current Pelvic Recovery functionality does not send your private Recovery or Care health information to Google Maps Platform, Stripe, advertising platforms, or custom analytics platforms.

Google receives location and search information when you explicitly use Find Care. Stripe processes payment and subscription information. Community information that you voluntarily post may be visible to other authenticated Community users.

You may intentionally export a Visit Brief as a PDF and choose to share it yourself.

We do not state legal conclusions about "sale" or "sharing" of information.

10. Community Visibility

Community content is intentionally shared with other authenticated Community users according to Community functionality. Private Recovery and Care records are separate and are not automatically shared into Community.

11. Find Care / Google Maps Platform

Find Care uses the Google Maps Platform. When you search, Pelvic Recovery sends your search location (city/ZIP text or coordinates) and a fixed pelvic-health search query to Google. No health information is sent to Google through Find Care. Searches are rate-limited and occur only when you explicitly search.

12. Stripe

Stripe processes subscription payments. Pelvic Recovery creates Stripe Checkout sessions and stores subscription identifiers and status returned by Stripe. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe, not by Pelvic Recovery.

13. Base44 Infrastructure

Pelvic Recovery is built on Base44, which provides hosting, authentication, database storage, backend functions, workflows, and secrets management. Your information is stored and processed through Base44 infrastructure.

Our service providers may retain information according to their own policies and technical requirements.

14. Google Sign-In

You may choose to sign in with Google. When you do, Google shares information with us through our infrastructure provider to authenticate you. You can manage your Google account permissions in your Google account settings.

15. Advertising and Analytics

Pelvic Recovery collects limited first-party product-usage events to understand how the service is used and improve the product. These analytics record only that an approved product action occurred (for example, that a check-in was created or a search was completed).

These analytics do not intentionally include the contents of your health records, symptom values, diagnoses, treatment information, provider information, Community posts or comments, precise location, search terms, or advertising identifiers.

Product-usage events are associated with your account. When you delete your account, the user-associated product-usage events tied to your account are removed as part of the account-deletion process.

Pelvic Recovery does not use a third-party analytics vendor for these events, does not use analytics for targeted advertising, and does not sell analytics information for advertising purposes. No advertising pixels, marketing trackers, session replay, screen recording, or heatmaps are used.

When you choose how you found Pelvic Recovery, Pelvic Recovery may store a privacy-safe source category (such as "friend" or "search"). Pelvic Recovery does not store full referrer URLs, search terms, or usernames.

Pelvic Recovery does not currently use private Recovery or Care health information for targeted advertising.

16. Data Retention

Pelvic Recovery application data is generally retained until you delete the information or your account, or until another applicable deletion process occurs.

Our service providers may retain information according to their own policies and technical requirements.

17. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account through Profile. Account deletion removes Pelvic Recovery's app-side private Recovery data, Care data, Community profile and content/activity, the local subscription record, and your authentication account.

An active Pelvic Recovery subscription is cancelled before account deletion.

Third-party providers, including Stripe, Google, and Base44 infrastructure, may retain information under their own policies or technical retention practices. We do not claim deletion from those systems unless verified.

18. User Choices and Controls

You can view, edit, and delete individual records, delete your account, control your Community identity, exclude sensitive categories from the Visit Brief, manage browser location permission, and cancel your subscription. Full bulk data export is not currently available.

19. Children / Age Requirement

Pelvic Recovery is intended for users age 18 or older. We do not collect date of birth. At registration and on first use, you are required to confirm that you are 18 years of age or older before accessing protected functionality.

20. Security

Pelvic Recovery uses account authentication, per-record access controls that limit records to their owner, server-side secrets, webhook verification, rate limiting, and protected routes. We do not describe Pelvic Recovery as "secure," "HIPAA compliant," "encrypted," "bank-level," "fully private," or "anonymous."

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
